LAKELAND | George Jenkins’ high-flying offense kept the ball on the ground Friday night, rushing for 436 yards in a 69-21 win over Tenoroc in the season finale for both teams before a crowd of 1,500 at Jenkins High School. Full Story

LAKELAND | The Tenoroc Titans withstood a furious fourth-quarter rally by Lake Nona to win, 26-20, in front of 300 senior night fans at Tenoroc on Friday night. The Lions (0-8) scored three touchdowns in the fourth quarter, all set up by screens to running backs who went for big yardage and they stopped the Titans (3-5) late in the game. Full Story

LAKELAND — Perhaps Winter Haven’s Donald Celiscar should change his number to 85. Then again, 7 suited him just fine as well. Celiscar had a pair of 85-yard scores and Adam Lane had three rushing touchdowns to lead the Blue Devils to a rout of Tenoroc, 41-7, in front of nearly 2,000 fans Friday night in a Class 3A-District 9 matchup. Lakeland Dreadnaughts Rout Tenoroc, 42-7

The Dreadnaughts found themselves another weapon much to the dismay of the Tenoroc Titans. Theodore Wright caught six balls for 166 yards and four touchdowns and Tim Evans threw for 217 yards to help the Dreadnaughts to a 42-7 victory over the Titans in front of 3,500 fans at Bryant Stadium on Friday night. MULBERRY | Tenoroc, in its third year of existence, picked up two more firsts Friday night. Taking advantage of Mulberry’s turnovers and coming up with a key fourth-quarter stop, the Titans (1-1) defeated the Panthers, 26-14, before 800 fans at The Phosphate Bowl. Full Story

LAKELAND | Kissimmee Liberty deflected Tenoroc quarterback Travis Tucker’s final-minute pass at the goal line to seal a 27-20 victory Friday night. Tucker, who threw for 156 yards for the game, put together a 17-play, 64-yard drive in the final minutes. Full Story
