Dave RobsonCoach Robson has 25 years of coaching experience in Polk County. He served as Offensive Coordinator for the Auburndale Bloodhounds: 2003-2005, then again for the 2007 season. The Bloodhounds were District 12 Champs in 2004 and again 2007. Robson is a former Head Coach of Kathleen High School where he succeeded in preparing many players for both academic and athletic scholarship offers from colleges. At one time, Coach Robson had four former Kathleen players in the NFL. Additionally, Coach Robson worked four years as part of the Lake Gibson High School staff, coaching Running Backs, Offensive Line, and serving as Offensive Coordinator for Coach Armstrong. During that time, the Braves were twice District Champs and went to the third round of the playoffs three years straight. Coach Robson has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from Florida Southern College and teaches Marketing at Tenoroc. |

John CruzCoach Cruz is a graduate of Lake Region High School. He played football all four years. He was a two year varsity starter on defensive line, where his team made the playoffs his senior year. He is currently attending Polk Community College where he is majoring in athletic training. This is his first year coaching. Coach Cruz looks forward to working with the players in creating a competitive program here at Tenoroc. |

Simon RodriguezCoach Rodriguez is entering his third year as a coach at Tenoroc High School. He graduated from University High School in 2002 where his team made the playoffs his senior year, and he was given invitations to two all-star games in Florida. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Marketing and a minor in Finance from the University of West Florida. He currently teaches Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Intensive Math, and Geometry. He is the Defensive Line and Running Backs coach. He is married to Cassie and the proud father of Victoria and Marcus. Coach Rodriguez is excited about the upcoming season and being competitive in the district. |

Jeremy HurdCoach Hurd is in his second year here at Tenoroc High School coaching the offensive line. He has eight years of experience coaching football. Coach Hurd and his wife, Laura, were living in Indiana before they moved to Lakeland. He attended Heritage Hills High School in Indiana, where he received All-State honors in football his senior year of high school. He played offensive line for the University of Indianapolis as a four year starter and was awarded to the 2nd Team All-Conference list his senior year of college. At the University of Indianapolis, he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education and Computer Information Systems. |

Aaron MeyersCoach Meyers was raised in Mt. Vernon, Indiana. He attended high school there were he played multiple sports. He attended the University Oklahoma where he majored in Sociology/Criminology. Coach Meyers started coaching in Indiana for his father who was head coach at his old high school. He moved to Florida in 2004. He has coached at Lake Region, Frostproof, Poinciana, and Haines City. |

Alonzo ThompsonCoach Thompson was born and raised in Lakeland, FL. He currently coaches Football, Soccer (Head Coach) and Track (Head Coach) for the Tenoroc Titans. He is a graduate of Florida A&M University, and Lake Gibson High School. This is Coach Thompson’s first full season as a High School coach and he looks forward to preparing athletes to perform at their highest level in and outside of the classroom. Coach Thompson measures his success as a coach by the success of the young men he is responsible for training. Psalm 1:1-3 |

Jimmy DowningCoach Downing is a 1990 graduate of Haines City High School. This is his first year with the Tenoroc Titan football program. He also serves as an assistant coach for the basketball program here at Tenoroc. Coach Downing attended Florida A&M University and Livingstone College earning a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences. Coach Downing is married to Shenita Seeden- Downing and has 3 kids, Justin, Kelci, and Katelin. Coach Downing’s primary goal at the “ROC” is to help build a sense of pride and tradition along with assisting young men to become positive and productive citizens within their community. |
